It's time to relax and degust perfectly cooked fish and good bhaji. This cafe has great coffee among its drinks. The well-trained staff welcomes visitors all year round. One of the few places serving a goan fish thali. It was tasty and wholesome. Only for Rs120. It's a greasy spoon joint so don't expect restaurant services. But it's value for money. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹1–200

Gloria Café (or Whatever It's Called Now) – Still Serving Great Thalis and More I’m not sure if it’s still called Gloria Café, but this food joint in Varca is still operational and continues to serve a decent thali. While Varca offers plenty of fancy and expensive dining options, this place is perfect if you’re looking for something reasonable and satisfying. Back when I used to work in Varca, this was my go-to spot for lunch. Although the café seems to be under new management, the taste and hygiene standards remain the same. Their fish thali is especially good and well worth a try. In addition to their thalis, they also serve bhaji, onion pakodas, and other fried savory items, making it a great place to enjoy a variety of dishes. If you’re in the area and craving a wholesome and budget-friendly meal, this is definitely a spot to consider!
