Great experience overall but the main thing is that as the name suggests KHAR KHUA, I have never got to eat Khar here.. I have been here many times but whenever I ask for Assamese Thali which has Khar as one of it's items, I always have been informed about it's unavailablilty.. So sad .. Before I had lunch and dinner but this time I just enjoyed Brunch in Bagicha - the cafe.. It's a highway resort of the Repose Bakery Group, on the way to Tezpur, just a few kilometres before Mangaldoi. We just arrived there to dine in....not stay. The have ample parking space for cars as well as two wheelers. The entrances are universally accessible. The toilets are also very good, clean and continuously maintained. Now on the food....they offer a variety of food on the menu....we tried both Assamese Thali as well as Indo-chinese. The taste is quite admirable.... however the quantity is of great value!! The staff are good and responsive. They also have counters for display and sale of bakery items, sweetmeat, etc. One can sit in ac dining hall or prefer to sit outside among landscaped gardens.
