I had ordered for mutton thali with roti. It was so bad that I had to throw it all. I don't know how this one managed to get such high rating. But, it's horrible.
I am not sure as Why will take more than one hour to deliver from btm second stage to first stage...when I called the reply was, "ayega Bhai ayega"...and phone disconnected" I am not expecting of a great taste as I am ordering rolls as home delivery. What I want is hot and quick delivery.
I too visited the shop once.and.quality was not.more than 3.5.
For a locality that is more traditional than others, Khan Saheb Grills and Rolls is a great find in South Bangalore. Admittedly not at par with the famous Nizam's of Connaught Place in Delhi, Khan Saheb nonetheless offers fairly tasty items.
My friends and I had stopped by for just a quick bite and did not have a full meal but we ordered the Chicken Tikka roll, the Chicken Reshmi Tikka roll, and the Mutton Kabab roll. All three were quite good.
The rolls are slightly shorter than you'd find at eateries up north, but no more than an inch or two. To be fair, the prices are also lower compared to the places that serve larger portions.
I was pleased to see that Khan Saheb does not skimp on fillings - each bite contains ample amount of meat though perhaps the veggies could have been increased slightly. Another thing about the roll was that the roti was a bit on the harder and drier side. Clearly, oil had been used but there was yet a dryness. I think the rotis could have been improved if the dough had been generously doused in egg. That would add to the taste and make the roti softer as well as more aromatic.
All said and done, Khan Saheb is a great place I look forward to dropping by for snacks more regularly.
