Had a wonderful family lunch at Khalsa Restaurant in Esplanade, Kolkata. The ambience is pleasant — they’re renovating right now, so some sections are being updated, but it still feels comfortable and welcoming. The staff deserve special mention for being genuinely warm and attentive, which really uplifted the experience. The food was delicious and freshly made. Quantity is quite generous for the price, making it good value for money. Prices are reasonable overall, especially considering it's located near the busy Esplanade area. One thing to note — parking is quite limited, so it’s easier to visit by public transport or cab. Other than that, it’s a great place for casual family meals if you’re in central Kolkata and craving good Punjabi food.
