Disappointed at KFC Tinsukia – Poor Service, Small Portions & Wrong Order Type I visited the KFC outlet at Municipal Market, Tinsukia (Assam) on 29th June 2025 at around 7:58 PM, and the experience was extremely disappointing. I had clearly asked for a dine-in order, but to my surprise, the staff processed it as a takeaway (Token No: 8276). This created unnecessary confusion and delay in receiving the order. Such basic mistakes from a reputed brand are unacceptable. Here’s what I ordered: 8 Pcs Boneless Meal – ₹379 Medium Pepsi – ₹79.04 Regular Popcorn Chicken – ₹98.99 Total: ₹584.90 (Paid via PayTM) We had to wait around 30 minutes in queue just to place the order and then another 30 minutes to receive it. The outlet was overcrowded and severely understaffed. There was no one to clean the tables, and many customers like me were forced to clear their own tables to have a place to eat. Adding to the frustration, the chicken strips were much smaller than what I’ve received at other KFC outlets in metro cities. The portion size felt downgraded and not worth the price paid. Key Issues: Wrong order type (Dine-in requested, takeaway given) Long waiting time (60+ minutes in total) Very poor manpower and service management Dirty, unattended tables Small portion sizes compared to other outlets Honestly, this KFC outlet failed to meet even basic expectations of service, hygiene, and product consistency.
