Had heard alot about this place so went to see what the hype was.. Did it live upto the expectation ofcourse it Did! Simple, clean and delicious Mallu food served on a banana leaf.. Veg meal includes 4 different types of veggies, sambar, dahi curry, brown rice, pickle and Papad. You may order chicken or fish separately.. We ordered 2 veg meals (1 meal is 120/-) with fish fry (1 piece surmai fry) which costed us 660/- It's open only for lunch between 12pm to 4pm, you might have to wait in queue for 10 odd minutes but it's worth for the food they serve.. Today we visited this Kerala Bhavan at Vashi, The Curd Rayata, Sambar, Butter milk and Rasam (it is noticed that in Rasam was having Maggi powder) was so pungent (too Khatta), it was difficult to eat such pungent (too khatta) food. It cannot be called as original Kerala food, Under the garb of Kerala food this is absolute unfair on the part of Management, the quantity of vegetables served is so small that we feel shameful to ask it again, although the cost of veg thali is Rs.100/-, it is not value for money as there is no chapati or paratha in the veg thali menu.
