I had an horrible experience at KAVA, Benaulim. I had a prior booking through Zomato for lunch at Kava on 25th Jan for which there was a cover charge which was also paid. Upon reaching the destination, I was informed by two of their most unprofessional staff that the restaurant is unavailable due to a private function. When shown the reservation through platform, the lady outrightly blamed it on Zomato stating that they do not have any say in it. Later she called her manager Mr. SUBHASHISH (not sure of the name) who considered me as some poor person and offered lunch at the private party. When I raised a concern he informed me that there are plenty of restaurants in Goa. There was not a single apology or a concern that someone who has booked through Zomato for the restaurant was outrightly asked to leave from the gate. Feels like Marriott has lost its hospitality and treats people only by the way the look. And in compensation only offers charity lunch. Utterly disgusted and humiliated. Big shame! Kava is a welcoming, all-day restaurant at the Fairfield by Marriott Goa Benaulim, located just steps away from the beach. It offers a wide variety of delicious food, including local South Goan specialties and many tasty vegetarian options that feel just like home-cooked meals. During a recent three-day wedding celebration, the restaurant provided excellent service for every meal, from breakfast to evening snacks. The staff are energetic, helpful, and come from all across the country, including Northeast India, creating a friendly atmosphere. Whether visiting for a large event or their popular Sunday brunch with live music, Kava provides a wonderful dining experience for all guests.
