Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium can be on your route by default, the guests' piece of advice is to visit this restaurant. Enjoy Indian cuisine at Kattanum Puttum. Good chicken curry, beef curry and fried chicken will impress you at the first bite. Get your meal started with great tea or delicious coffee.
The success of this place wouldn't be possible without the courteous staff. Fast service is something guests agree upon here. Prices are adequate for the quality you get. There is homey atmosphere at this spot. 4.1 is what this restaurant got from the Google rating system.

I have been a regular at Kattanum Puttum since 2017, and I can honestly say the taste has remained just as authentic and delicious over the years. Their mint tea is my absolute favorite—refreshing every single time, and it’s the first thing I look forward to whenever I’m in Kochi. The food here is consistently excellent. The Palkappa beef fry is a must-try dish, rich in flavor and cooked perfectly. The kada fry is another specialty that I would highly recommend. The only minor issue is parking, which can sometimes be a bit tricky. However, during my recent visit I noticed the area next to their shop is levelled, which I believe might be intended for parking—hopefully that makes things easier going forward. Overall, Kattanum Puttum continues to be one of my all-time favorite places for great food and mint tea in Kochi. Highly recommended.
