A soulful blend of food, art, and calm in Fort Kochi! Tucked away in the heritage-rich lanes of Fort Kochi, this place offers a serene escape with its rustic charm and creative ambiance. Their Kombucha (fermented tea) is a refreshing surprise - cool, tangy, and uniquely local. The food is wholesome, thoughtfully plated, and a perfect place for hangouts. What makes it extra special is the evolving art gallery right at the entrance—it sets the tone for a deeply artistic and inspiring visit. A must-visit for art lovers, solo travelers, and anyone who enjoys meaningful spaces with good food and peaceful vibes. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹400–600 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
If you’re wandering around Fort Kochi and stumble upon Kashi Art Café, don’t just pass by, this is a must-visit experience, not just a meal. From the moment you step in, the entrance grabs your attention, walls adorned with paintings, newspaper-inspired art, and a burst of creative expression. It’s not just a café, it feels like walking into a living gallery. The ambience is where nature meets heritage, outdoor greenery, earthy tones, and vintage charm make it feel like you’ve entered a peaceful, curated retreat from the buzz of the street. Let’s talk food: Tuna Sandwich – Absolutely loved it. Even as someone who usually avoids strong tuna flavor, this sandwich is exceptionally well-balanced. Served on brown bread brushed with garlic oil, the texture and flavor were both on point. A 10/10 for me. White Sauce Pasta – This one didn’t land for me. The flavor was quite different from classic white sauce, and the waiter mentioned it was a weekend special. That said, the chicken was tender and cooked well, so not a total miss. Iced Coffee + Lime Juice – Both were super refreshing and hit perfectly after walking around in the Fort Kochi heat. Great balance, not overly sweet or bitter. The lime juice is served with chia seeds and honey. Chocolate Cake with Ice Cream – Easily one of the best chocolate desserts I’ve had in a café. Rich, dripping chocolate, and when paired with a scoop of ice cream? Absolutely lip-smacking. Worth every rupee. Beyond the menu, the vibe at Kashi is slow, artsy, and quietly buzzing with thoughtful conversation, solo travelers, and people sketching or reading. It’s the kind of place where you lose track of time. Perfect for brunch, journaling, and artsy photo dumps Food meets creativity in every way Good portion sizes, and the desserts are chef’s kiss Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹600–800 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
