Kashi Art Café in Fort Kochi is truly a landmark destination that beautifully blends art, food, and nostalgia. Having visited this café many years ago during my school and college days, stepping in again felt like a walk down memory lane. The ambience is exactly what one would hope for in Fort Kochi—calm, rustic, and filled with character. The art-filled interiors, open courtyard, and laid-back vibe make it a place where time slows down, encouraging long conversations and relaxed moments. On this visit, we ordered their signature Chocolate Cake, the famous dish that has almost become synonymous with Kashi Café. The cake was soft, moist, and indulgent. While it was delightful, I personally felt it was on the sweeter side, and perhaps a slightly more balanced flavor would have made it even better. Still, it is something one must try at least once here. We also tried the Meat Lovers’ Omelette, which was truly satisfying. Packed with bacon, chicken sausage, chicken salami, cheese, tomatoes, and onions, it came with toasted bread, peanut butter, and a side of cut fruits. It was hearty, filling, and well-prepared. The balance of flavors and the portion size made it a standout dish. The Cheese Omelette too deserves a special mention—it was exceptionally well done, fluffy and perfectly seasoned, one of the best I’ve had in Kochi. To complement our meal, we ordered the Cold Espresso blended with coffee ice cream and cold milk. It was refreshing, creamy, and had just the right coffee kick, a perfect cooler for the Kochi weather. Overall, Kashi Café is not just about food but also about the experience. It’s a place that makes you want to return, not only for the menu but also for the atmosphere and memories it evokes. While the prices lean slightly towards the premium side, the ambience and quality justify it. For anyone visiting Fort Kochi, this café is an absolute must-visit. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Really bad service and very very average food - the pesto seemed like some sort of a green paste. Sizzler was average, only thing well edible was the burger. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
