This is the greatest spot near Amma Mandapam Bathing Ghats. Try good chicken biryani, fried fish and pepper chicken at this restaurant. Trichy Karthik Mess is famous for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. Many visitors say that prices are democratic for what you receive. Trichy Karthik Mess is situated On Williams Road, Opposite to Commercial Tax office. We had our lunch during our recent visit to Trichy. Traditional South Indian food with a homemade touch. Food was indeed good, served very fast as most are readily cooked and available. Rice served hot and unlimited. Price worthy and the service was excellent. Must visit if one intend to have home made non vegetarian South Indian style food. The ambiance thought is pretty basic. The place is crowded most of the time. They have a separate parking lot (can park about 10 cars I think) at a walkable distance, which is full most of the time. On the whole it' great place for non veg meals.
