(This is about the new shop, not the old one on the corner) The moment I walked through the door, the fragrance hit me, and it felt just like being in my own hometown. The ambiance is beautifully done; the soft, warm lighting and traditional decor create a cozy and authentic atmosphere that makes you feel completely at ease. Every dish was a masterpiece. And you absolutely cannot leave without trying the filter coffee. It's the real deal—strong, aromatic, and with the perfect balance of bitterness and sweetness. Went there as this is famous and rating was good but was left disappointed. The food was not as expected. I asked the staff what was best, to which they said everything is good. So we order the famous filter coffee. The order received had some insect in it. Was replaced. We ordered 2 dosas. The taste was average. I didn't like the the amount of oil used in dosa. This being the authentic restaurant, was not expecting this. We had to leave half of or food as its is as it was too much of unhealthy oil to consume. The sambar was nice and chutney was ok. The staff as nice and polite though. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 1
