Last week when we spent our vacation at Gokarna, it wasn't exactly the "season" and hence it wasn't guaranteed that all cafes would be up and running. This cafe too seemed closed. One afternoon when we tried our luck nobody was around. However, we tried again. And second time apparantly was the charm. We made it our go-to place thereafter. Mainly for two reasons: food, which was absolutely delicious, homely, and very generous with the quantity. And secondly the lovely humans running the cafe. A lovely husband and wife, who kept the cafe open even at times when it was just us. Lovely humans, lovely food, lovely cafe. Also, we kept ordering the same items every single day. Our breakfast order - Masala Omelette, Puri Bhaji (because quantity was huge, we used to order two plates of Omelette and one plate of Puri Bhaji) Lunch and Dinner - Jeera Rice, Prawns Masala, Prawns Thava Fry (the menu says this fry comes with fries, and it does come with fries. The omlette too comes with two slices of bread) Highly recommend. Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Stay was at affordable price and the rooms too were good. It has beach view cafe which is such a beautiful view and food is good too. The people of Kariyappa B Cafe, are nice and helpful. Service: Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Chicken Sandwich, Prawns Tawa Fry

Tasty food. The rooms are very well maintained and budget friendly. Staff is very kind and helpful. Had a very good time with family. Highly recommend this stay in Gokarna.
