Great food, we went as a big group for a birthday dinner and we ordered a lot of dishes. The server patiently explained what each dish was, suggested better pairings than the ones we were thinking of experimenting with, and honestly not a single dish was bad. The kandhari icecream was the absolute highlight. Pretty quick service too and reasonably priced. Must visit.

If you’re craving authentic Kerala flavors with a twist, Kappa Chakka Kandhari is the place to be. My recent visit was nothing short of a culinary journey through the heart of Kerala, with each dish showcasing a perfect blend of tradition and creativity. Drinks: We began our meal with the Absolute Kandhari and Buttermilk. The Absolute Kandhari was a refreshing drink with a subtle spicy kick, perfectly balanced to awaken the palate. The Buttermilk, on the other hand, was soothing and packed with authentic Kerala flavors, making it a great start to the meal. Starter: The Kappa Vada was a delightful surprise. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, it was seasoned to perfection. This traditional tapioca delicacy was elevated with modern presentation but stayed true to its roots in flavor. Main Course: For the main course, we indulged in Appam paired with Ulli Theyal. The Appam was fluffy with crispy edges, complementing the rich, tangy, and flavorful Ulli Theyal. The balance of sweet caramelized onions with the sour tamarind undertones was just right. The star of the evening, however, was the Payaru Kanji. This wholesome green gram porridge was heartwarming and nostalgic, bringing back memories of traditional Kerala comfort food. It was simple yet incredibly flavorful, showcasing how basic ingredients can create something extraordinary. Dessert: To end the meal on a sweet note, we had the Heaven Cloud Pudding. The name says it all—this dessert was nothing short of heavenly. Light, fluffy, and melting in the mouth, it was the perfect culmination to an exquisite dining experience. Ambiance and Service: The ambiance at Kappa Chakka Kandhari is cozy and welcoming, reflecting the warmth of Kerala culture. The staff was attentive and courteous, always ready to explain the dishes and suggest pairings, enhancing the overall dining experience. Out of all the above points i would really appreciate the service they provide ,it felt really good and I really appreciate their efforts. I couldn't ask the guy's name who was serving us my god , that guy mastered customer service man he needs a raise. Really loved it!!!
