Eating good coconut chicken, idli and spicy prawns is a pleasant experience here. This place provides tasty banana pudding, curry dessert and coconut ice cream. Here you may have delicious wine. This place is famous for great coconut juice, lemonade or tea.

If you’re craving authentic Kerala cuisine, Kappa Chakka Kandhari is a great choice. We opted for the tasting menus, which are definitely on the expensive side but offer a complete culinary experience. We tried both the Ammachi Specials (₹1095 + taxes) and the Malabar Musings (₹1745 + taxes). The tasting menus are well-curated, offering a wide variety of starters and main course dishes that showcase traditional Kerala flavors. Most of the items were genuinely delicious, with some unique combinations you won’t easily find elsewhere. The ambience is warm and welcoming, though the space tends to get quite crowded and the music can be too loud, making conversations slightly difficult. That said, the staff is exceptional—friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, which really elevates the dining experience. Desserts were average and didn’t stand out as much compared to the rest of the meal. In short, while it’s not a budget-friendly place, it’s definitely worth visiting if you want to explore Kerala cuisine in a refined and modern setting.
