Hot King Fish Thaali on a Monday July end heavy rain afternoon! We just got lucky as most restaurants are closed on Mondays in Ponda. Situated in the by lanes of Ponda city. Parking can be a challenge for four wheelers. Ground floor restaurant. We reached at 12:30 afternoon, were served within 15 minutes of placing the order as fish (Kingfish & Chonak) was being freshly fried. Servings of rice was excess, not to forget there are six bowls (squid, dry Prawns, tisryo, tivil, beans, curry) as well on the plate.!!! And they also give extra complimentary fish curry for Thaali. It was too yummy & we are to our heart's fill, inspite of the Thaali being extra large! Saw lot of single men ordering thaalis, meaning it's a popular place. Our bill for premium King fish & Chonak Thaali was within Rs.500 total. They also served hot water. Decor is simple, no frills. Service was fast & efficient inspite of restaurant being full.
