During my trip to #Varanasi earlier this year - I was tired of eating only #veg food for the first two days - pretty obvious for a hardcore non vegetarian like me but then we non vegetarians tend to find an alternative always ????
Guess what, I was able to discover a non vegetarian eatery in the holy city of Varanasi too and I have to admit - it was way beyond my expectation in terms of quality although it was a basic no frills restuarant bit the food was mind-blowing to say the least..
Kalika Family Restaurant is well known for it's #Mutton delicacies specially #MuttonDoPyaja cooked in #woodfire oven - extremely tender meat falling off the bone - an almost melt in the mouth experience - one of the best mutton dishes I have tasted till date.. Paired with thier crispy #parathas - it was an unparalleled gastronomical bliss out of nowhere..
If you are a Mutton lover and if you are in Varanasi - this one is a #MUSTVISIT - I can go back to the city again just for this one meal..
