Posting this review on behalf of my friend, who is a pure vegetarian. We were eating the Veg Biryani together when this incident occurred. She ordered Veg Biryani from Kalika Hut, trusting it as a known brand. While we were eating, we were shocked to find a piece of chicken in the biryani. This is a serious lapse and breach of trust, especially for someone who strictly follows a vegetarian diet. This incident happened on Makar Sankranti, an important religious day, and it has deeply hurt her religious beliefs and sentiments. What made the situation worse was the response from both the restaurant and Swiggy: Swiggy closed the complaint chat without taking any meaningful action. When she contacted Kalika Hut, the owner responded very casually, saying: “Madam ab hum kya kare, ho gaya toh ho gaya, aage se dhyan denge.” This shows a complete lack of responsibility and sensitivity. Such negligence in clearly separating vegetarian and non-vegetarian food is unacceptable. A reputed restaurant should follow strict food handling practices. Warning to all vegetarians: Please be careful before ordering from this restaurant. This experience clearly shows that vegetarian food safety is not taken seriously here. I have ordered veg biriyani as i am a pure vegetarian and while i was eating the biriyani i found a piece of chicken in the biriyaniKalika hut is known as a brand and they have done such shit. I am pure vegetarian and today its makar sankranti and they have hurt my religious faith, this is a shit it’s really not done. I am going to take strict action against this . For reference i am dropping the picture and its a note to all the vegetarians please do not order from this shitty restraunt also when i called to complaint swiggy closed my chat without taking any action and when i called kalika hut restraunt owner said ~ madam ab hm kya kare btaaiye ho gya toh ho gya aage se dhyan dngy, now you all suggest what should i do with this shitty solution??
