I was looking for some food options in the area and noticed this place in the bylanes of Pai Layout. I decided to check it out. It’s a short 5 mins walk from metro station at tin factory. The place is a regular mess, noisy, cramped, all of that, and with a really local vibe which makes it an interesting place for someone like me who loves to explore! When I entered I noticed all tables were occupied. So I requested to join someone at their table which had an empty seat. They promptly obliged. I ordered for beef chilly fry and a chapati. A gentleman on the table behind me advised that the beef is somewhat dry so get some rice and gravy. I knew exactly what to expect so I thanked him for his advise, but appreciated the concern The server still got me some curry along with my ordered food . Beef fry was delicious with flavours coming through from the meat and the spices used! The curry was also tasty and added much flavour to the meal. Service was also prompt. Really good, no frills, VFM kind of a place. I paid about 125 for the meal and a bottle of water! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹1–200 Food: 5 Service: 5

Loved the porotta and beef masala. Just the same as we get in Kerala at an affordable and comparatively lesser price. The service is quick. Another thing is we will get meals in the night also. I had Chicken biriyani and porotta with beef. Biriyani didn't meet the expectation, but has considerable quantity and served with a boiled egg. varavu (ready made id/local )porotta, horrible beef curry with chunks of vettu neyyu....bengali/north east staff good . Old man owner showing attitude when given rs 500 note for rs 120 bill???? Kilavaaa, my gpay is not working!!!! I told him so (without the first word). What a mess it is !!?
