If you appear to be near Jalagam Vengal Rao Park, you can visit Kailash Parbat. You will be offered nicely cooked bhaji. A lot of people highlight that the staff is cute at this place.
The family was pretty hungry after a long walk at GVK One mall, Banjara Hills @ Hyderabad and finally decided to have dinner at this restaurant – which is actually a part of the food court of this mall!
Was initially a bit reluctant – considering the extremely low Zomato ratings of 2.5 – but still decided to try them out – a risk which certainly bore fruit!
The place is pretty hygienic – staff were very smart and helpful! There was decent variety and availability of stuff and we went for a Chole Bhatura as well as a Puri Bhaji!
2 huge pieces of bhatura were served with lots of chola as well as pickles which tasted pretty nice! Special mention goes to the food presentation - very appealing to the eyes!
Puri bhaji was served with jain chola (i.e. sans onion and garlic) as well as dry aloo and salads! This however, did not tickle our taste buds, but still, an edible dish!
Quantity and quality served is decent, ambience of the food court is obviously nice!
Prices are very high, but still justified considering they operate out of an exotic food court.
It is very rare that you are so disappointed with the food and the service. We ordered a veg combo and chole bathure at this outlet today. The food was truly disappointing. Chole curry was very watery. Paneer was loaded with salt. In short the food was inedible. We could only have the gulab jamun and chaas. It was a pretty expensive deal for 420!!!
We did complain to the management and the owner but I they were not surprised with the feedback and were very unapologetic.
I would suggest to others not to go for it!!
At a point of time Kailash parbat was an outlet that used to serve really good Vegetarian food and it was the go to restaurant for almost every vegetarian ! The brand has removed a lot of stores in the city and i know why that's happening! After a movie we we were in search of a place to have food and happened to come across the outlet ! We ordered a pav bhaji ragada and Pani Puri ! All of them tasted really bad ! The pav was stale they gave me chole masala instead of ragada and the Puris were also smelling bad ! After I took the first bite my stomach started growling and it kept telling don't have more ! Though I felt that I tried to complete the food ! Please don't eat food here !
