We visited **Kailas Garden** as a group of 8 on the occasion of *Dev Deepawali* and had a wonderful experience enjoying their authentic **Maharashtrian Pithala Bhakari Thali**. Every dish served was delicious — especially the **Pithala, Kadhi, and Jowar Bhakari**, which truly stood out for their homely and flavorful taste. Though **Baigan Bhartha** was not served (we were informed it was in limited stock and replaced with a mixed veg sabji), everything else made up for it with amazing taste and quality. The restaurant is located just behind the famous Kailas Bhel, (KHED, Shivapur) a bit outside the Pune city, but offers a **spacious and serene ambiance** with **ample parking space**. Service was quick, polite, and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy **authentic Maharashtrian cuisine** in a peaceful setting. Kailas Garden (Besan Bhakri) is a true gem for lovers of traditional vegetarian Maharashtrian food. The thali here is simply “Ek Number”! The besan bhakri, masala bhat, and kadhi are incredibly flavorful and satisfying—authentic taste that reminds you of home. Service is quick and efficient, and the staff is extremely polite and welcoming. The ambiance is clean, peaceful, and adds to the overall dining experience. Prices are very affordable, making it great for regular visits. A big plus is the four-wheeler parking space available—something hard to find in many places. However, do expect a bit of a wait (about 10–15 minutes) on weekends due to heavy rush, but it’s absolutely worth it. Overall, Kailas Garden offers a wholesome, value-for-money experience.
