Nestled on Pycrofts Garden Road, near the Thousand Lights metro station in Chennai, KUP Coffee Roasters offers a cafe experience with an array of service options. Despite its convenient urban location, the cafe has garnered mixed reviews from visitors. While some highlight its status as arguably the best coffee spot in the city, others note a somewhat limited menu and high prices compared to quantity.
The cafe provides various service points such as kerbside pickup, takeaway, and delivery, along with seating conducive to casual or romantic gatherings. However, visitors may find the small size and limited range of vegetarian offerings potentially restrictive. While known for its tasty small plates and desserts, recent feedback suggests that ordering and payment processes could be more customer-friendly.
KUP Coffee Roasters embodies a quaint and cozy atmosphere, but doesn't offer wheelchair accessibility, and there are noted concerns about the upkeep of restroom facilities. The establishment accommodates groups and is child-friendly, offering free WiFi. Guests can enjoy parking with options like free street parking or valet service. Reservations are accepted, and payments through debit and NFC mobile methods are available, although it's unclear if credit cards are accepted. Overall, additional insights from the owner regarding operational updates or modifications would be welcomed by potential patrons.

Frequently mentioned in KUP Coffee Roasters, Nungambakkam reviews
Really nice coffee shop. I had been craving a pour over and was so happy to be able to drink a pour over using Indian coffee beans. They had a mix of light and medium roast beans though I picked a light roast. I also got a chocolate chip cookie which was warm and delicious. For pour overs I recommend their Ratanagiri Estate light roast. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: ₹400–600
I had such a lovely time at KUP Coffee Roasters, Nungambakkam! The place has a calm, earthy ambience with just the right mix of minimal and cozy, perfect whether you’re catching up with a friend or getting some work done. It’s spacious, has great lighting, and the staff are friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The pesto pasta was honestly incredible, creamy, flavourful, and perfectly balanced. And the guava chilli cooler? Absolute perfection! Refreshing, tangy, and with that subtle kick that makes it unforgettable. You can tell a lot of thought goes into what they serve. If you’re someone who enjoys good food, great coffee, and a peaceful atmosphere to work or unwind, this spot is a total win. Can’t wait to go back!
