Recently we made a telephone booking and got confirmation it. .BUT TO OUR SURPRISE, AND SHOCK when we reached hotel at 11.30pm , they informed us, that no room was booked in our names. And infact the tarriff which was charged was much higher that the one which was finalised during telephone booking......as we are having seriously ill patient (for whom we came to consult at Apollo hospital chennai), we have to stay there at higher rates
We recommend that some action to be taken against such people and hotel and no one shall ever visit the hotel
Craving for kerala food? You have got to try this restaurant at Rain Drops, Greams Road. The hotel, owned by the KTDC( Kerala Tourism & Development Corporation) is a good venture. Having tried a couple of Kerala restaurants at Chennai and being a Keralite, i would definitely recommend this place. The menu consists of Kerala food items, as expected in any Kerala restaurant. So if you are visiting this place i would request you to stick to the Kerala items and not go for Tandoori items( although the restaurant would be happy to specially serve you) and come up on a verdict on the restaurant. The buffet veg meals would come to around Rs 110/- exclusive of taxes. The buffet comprises of all the items one would find in a traditional kerala meal( sadhya)- a choice of red/white rice, sambar, moru curry, avial, payasam to name a few. You can also upgrade your meals by ordering non veg items from the menu which will surely leave you craving for more. The ambience at the restaurant is also quite good. So do head to this hotel if you are in the neighbourhood for a feel good Kerala dining experience!
