This restaurant is famous for Shawaya Chicken. It is worth trying item. The masala used for marination is special I guess. It gives the chicken a very tempting taste. It is juicy and tender. Awesome. Never miss Shawaya chicken and the Kubbus combo! A black tea along with it will give you real 'thasalli'! During a recent trip to Manjeri with a friend , arriving around 2 PM and quite hungry,we visited KR Bakery. We ordered the chicken shawaya with shawaya rice and two mint lime juices. The chicken shawaya was perfectly cooked and served with a variety of 5 or 6 dips, enhancing the overall flavor. The shawaya rice was good, though it didn't stand out much from typical egg fried rice. The mint lime juice was refreshing but average, lacking a strong mint or lime taste. Service at KR Bakery was commendable. The staff managed the rush efficiently, serving our meal promptly and ensuring we had everything we needed. Overall, the experience was positive, with the well-prepared chicken shawaya being the highlight. If you're in Manjeri and looking for a satisfying meal, KR Bakery is a solid choice.
