I recently visited Desi Videshi with high expectations, but my experience left much to be desired. I ordered a chicken dish hoping for a flavorful, fresh meal. However, it became evident that the chicken was far from fresh—it had the distinct taste and texture of being refrigerated for too long. The chicken lacked any juiciness or flavour, pointing to poor handling and storage. This not only compromised the taste but also raised concerns about hygiene and food safety. For a restaurant that promotes quality food, serving reheated or improperly stored chicken is unacceptable. Freshness is non-negotiable when it comes to poultry, and this experience failed to meet basic standards. Would I recommend this place? Not unless they address the issue of fresh ingredients.
