It was for a family dinner so we could try a good amount of dishes and thus ended up ordering a few appetizers namely “Achari Smoked Soya Chaap”, “Koyla Dahi Ke Kebab” & “Mushroom Galouti”. We just wanted to try out different kind of dishes rather than different variety from the same tikka family. So the achari smoked soya chaap expectedly had the most amount of pieces. The soya chaap was very soft even after being roasted nicely and the marination made it very juicy. The koyla dahi ke kebab were black in colour and tasted quite nice. They were too bitter or too sweet. The galouti kebabs were the best of the lot. They were very heavy, but tasted simply amazing. The small bread along with it also complimented the galoutis nicely.
For the main course we ordered “Maa ki Dal”, “Kadhai Paneer” & “Kissa Special Malai Kofta”. The maa ki dal was the usual dal makhani with a nice smokey flavour and perfect consistency. The texture of the gravy of malai kofta was so nice and the koftas were quite soft and filled with paneer. The kadhai paneer was it’s crunchy self with nice mix of bell peppers with onions and a spicy gravy with paneer dipped in it.
Our order for breads contained the usual breads but the only distinct bread choice we got was their “Kissa Roti Ka” which was a multigrain bread which made the usual roti even more healthier and nutritious. Definitely my parent’s favourite from our order that day.
The packaging was very premium with cute mini buckets for the gravies. The boxes were so good that they were totally leak proof. The extras along with the order were sufficient and well thought.
Overall, Kissa did meet our expectations after hearing a lot about them. Their menu is quite diverse and you are bound to get newer options whenever you repeat order unless you want to stick to your favourites from their menu. Recommended!
We ordered their speciality Kissa Butter Chicken Ka with bone along with Turkish Buzlama Roti, Tandoori Roti and Butter Naan. It was out of this world. The chicken melted in mouth within seconds. Next on our plate was chicken malai tikka and mutton kebab along with paper-thin roomali rotis. The kebabs could not have been cooked better. They were literally fingerliciously good ?
My overall experience was outstanding. I'll order the food again for sure and take a whiff of the heaven ?
