I placed a takeaway order (#K449014117) from this KFC outlet on 7 October, and honestly, it was the worst KFC experience I've ever had in Kolkata. The fried chicken was burnt, extremely dry, and chewy -- it was obvious it had been cooked in old oil. The Zinger burger was just as bad: the patty was thin, dry, and of the same poor quality as the chicken, the bun was subpar and had an off smell. The rice was undercooked and completely white, lacking the usual yellow tint KFC rice normally has. Garlic was the only flavor you could taste, overpowering everything else, which made it unpleasant to eat. The fries were cold, soggy, and again tasted like they had been fried in old oil. Everything was poorly prepared and clearly not up to standard. For a brand like KFC, I expected much better.
