I usually don’t write reviews, but this visit was so frustrating that it deserves a proper mention. I had ordered just two Pepsi and one medium chicken popcorn — nothing fancy. But what should have been a quick 5–10 minute wait turned into an unbelievable 40–50 minute delay. To make things worse, KFC’s WhatsApp message showed the order as “ready”, but when I went to collect it, the staff hadn’t even started preparing it properly. I ended up standing there waiting unnecessarily, with zero communication or urgency from their side. On top of that, I had ordered the ₹99 combo of two Pepsi, but they served me one Pepsi and one 7UP. At first, I let it pass thinking both are soft drinks, but the 7UP was completely watery. There was no ice, and the drink didn’t taste like proper 7UP or water — it was somewhere unpleasantly in between. When I pointed this out, they agreed to replace it, but it took another 15+ minutes just to give me a proper Pepsi. So in total, for a simple order of two Pepsi and one chicken popcorn, the entire process took almost an hour, which is absolutely unacceptable for a reputed fast-food chain. The only decent part was the ambience, which was clean and well-maintained — but that’s thanks to Polo Central Mall’s management of the food court, not KFC itself. Overall, this was a terrible experience. Slow service, wrong drinks, diluted beverages, and no sense of urgency. If this is the standard here, I’d rather go to another outlet than waste my time again.
