Fraudulent and Unethical Practices at K C Das – Avoid at All Costs!I had an extremely disappointing experience at this K.C. Das outlet. I purchased a box of 9 pieces of Jalbhara Sandesh after inspecting the sweets. However, while I was at the payment counter, one of the full pieces was replaced with a broken, less-than-half piece. This was clearly done when I was away making the payment.To make matters worse, the remaining pieces were hard, stale, and not fresh at all. I had specifically informed the staff to pack the sweets properly as I was traveling back home, making it evident I wasn’t a local customer. So clearly they took advantage of the situation, knowing I wouldn't be able to return.The K.C. Das brand name and reputation are clearly undeserved if this is the level of service and quality they offer. Such practices are fraudulent and completely unacceptable. Avoid this outlet!

Replacing 1 pc of Jalbhora Sandesh out of 9 with a broken piece by our staff, while the bill was being made is absurd .A staff has nothing to gain from it, because every day under the instructions of the Management we are returning to Factory all the broken and damaged pieces on a regular basis without any burden to any staff. Most of our staffs are long term and Loyal workers who will never resort to such lowly behavior and tarnish our long standing goodwill.It is very much possible and probable that the piece was broken in transit. as mentioned that the package was meant to be taken out of station.Jalbhora is a very special variety of sondesh which is under the category of kara paak., literally meaning stiff dough. This type of Sondesh has no moisture, so it is hard . This is done to increase its shelf life suitable for carrying out of station.I would suggest you to try out our variety of sondesh.... soft & moist, medium soft & hard varities and take your best pick. Please make sure to ask their respective shelf life. Regards
