If you are looking for authentic konkan ( not typically Goan but a mix of Goan and the state border) simple home food, your search stops here. This place has no fancy stuff. Having said that, you will get a taste of typical home cooked food at a reasonable price. Most importantly the place is very clean and neat. The wash room too is very clean and well maintained. It's like having a small shack outside a tiled roof house where you sit and enjoy your meal in front of the garden. They typically serve 4-5 variety of fish thalis and a chicken thali. Cooked in a very conservative age old way where they use fire wood for cooking, aadali to scrape coconut etc. The service is also very quick. You can also have some soft drinks along with lunch or dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed the pomfret fry, chonok fry, silver fish fry and chicken thali not forgetting the fish thali as well.
