Kanchas has always held a special place in this city's culinary landscape, especially the first branch, renowned for its authentic Chinese flavors. When they opened a new branch here, I was thrilled to see they expanded their offerings to include both Chinese and Indian dishes, along with a selection of beverages and snacks. While I've only ventured into their Chinese menu so far, it's definitely a winner! The chili paneer and veg fried momos were a delightful experience, and they still possess that original Kanchas taste that I adore. The atmosphere was buzzing with activity, a large group enjoying their meal, which meant a bit of a wait for our order. One thing that left me slightly disappointed was that they only serve Chinese dishes in full plates, no half portions available. And to my surprise, my momos arrived without the accompanying schezwan chutney! I wish they had mentioned it beforehand because I wouldn't have ordered them if I knew. Despite these minor hiccups, my curiosity is piqued. I've heard whispers of their Indian dishes being equally impressive, and I'm eager to explore their menu further. The vibrant flavors of Kanchas, coupled with their welcoming atmosphere, make it a place I'll continue to visit, hoping to discover more culinary gems hidden within their diverse offerings. Perhaps next time, I'll try their milkshake or maybe their sandwiches. The possibilities are endless, and I'm excited to see what awaits me on my next visit.
