I have visited Kamat Hotel around 4–5 times for breakfast, snacks, and lunch. Overall, the food quality is good and appears hygienic. I have tried masala dosa, plain dosa, uppit, kesar bath, idli–vada, and the taste has been consistently satisfactory. One observation I would like to highlight is their practice of promoting packed drinking water bottles. A 500 ml bottle is usually supplied along with the menu. While some customers may prefer this, others may not. From a service industry perspective, it would be better if filtered drinking water is provided by default, and customers who prefer packaged water can opt for it separately. This would offer more choice and improve customer comfort. On the service front, the staff are polite, responsive, and serve food on time, which is appreciable. Overall, I would recommend this place if you are looking for clean, hygienic South Indian food near the bus stand.
