A regular at Kai I was disappointed with the quality of food and service inconsistency. The standard pickled vegetables which is placed on the table was missing. The yasai tempura was super oily and the tempura batter was not coated evenly. The vegetable jade soup had a strong pepper aftertaste. The main course of noodles and prawn was good. The service staff although courteous need to be a bit more alert. We had to constantly ask someone to refill our water glass and jasmine tea. Had to remind staff a couple of staff for few other things. We go to Kai for an authentic and premium Oriental experience. They should maintain their standards and provided consistency.
