K Mansion at Munnar is a true gem! Surrounded by misty mountains and tea gardens, it offers stunning views, peaceful surroundings and warm hospitality. I was even so lucky to see a herd of wild elephants with their calves nearby . The staff and management are exceptional and made my stay truly special and memorable . Strongly recommended for anyone planning to visit Munnar or nearby areas!

I booked through Booking.com and provided my credit card details to secure the reservation. However, just two days before my arrival, the hotel cancelled my booking without a valid reason. This is the first time I have faced such an issue with Booking.com. To make matters worse, the property is now demanding a higher price than my confirmed booking rate. This is highly disappointing and unacceptable

Dear Sharaf,We are sorry to read your disappointment, but we would like to clarify the situation for the benefit of you as well as future guests.Your reservation was initially made through Booking.com, and while credit card details were provided at the time of booking, as per Indian government regulations, hotels are not permitted to charge a guest’s card without explicit authorization or advance payment. For this reason, our property policy requires an advance transfer to confirm the booking.We communicated this requirement to you multiple times, and unfortunately, despite reminders, the advance was not paid. As a final courtesy, we even issued a last-day reminder, but there was no response from your side. Under Booking.com’s policy, if a guest does not complete the confirmation process, we as a small boutique property have the right to cancel the reservation. This is essential for us, as unlike larger hotels, if a guest does not turn up and we cannot recover the amount, it is a significant loss.Regarding your concern on pricing, we want to stress that our rates are fixed and transparently published across all online travel platforms and direct bookings. The only variation arises from discounts or promotions applied by those platforms themselves, not from our end. At no point did we attempt to charge a higher rate than what was publicly available.We regret the inconvenience caused to you but assure all future guests that our policies are designed only to ensure fairness and security for both sides. Wonderful experience with my stay here. Located on main road somewhat far from main munnar point from where you can get all the buses, autos and go to all different directions like Mattupetty, Eravikulam and other. So a little challenging to reach this main point/market. Its almost 13km away. Bus passes by this route every 20-30 minutes. But Because its far from main munnar market it is so peaceful and secluded. You’ll literally want to stay there like forever. We booked mountain view room, and The view from hotel dining area and our room was breathtaking. All the necessary items were available in the room like hairdryer, water heater kettle, enough chairs and tables, centralised bathroom heater system. And there were some cookies and banana chips complementary in the room. Really nice touch. Hotel looks very professional, every corner was so clean and hygienic it really makes you feel good. Has lift, a play area where some games are there like pool, foos ball. Has a Jacuzzi. The weather was so chilly during our stay so we didn’t use it but it was beautiful. The staff here is amazing everyone is so smiley and professional we were really happy to see them every time. Reason im giving it a 4 star is their food. They had good options and taste in breakfast but mostly the food and specially coffee/tea were cold. They warm it up for you whenever you ask but still. Coffee/tea was not good according to our taste. Would definitely recommend this place.
