It happened so that we were all starving, exhausted and were searching for a good place to dine-in. It was a hot afternoon and we finally reached this place. On the outlook of it, the place looked decent and we took the inner room. Without running down through the menu, we quickly ordered Veg and Non-veg Briyani along with few side dishes. Our faces literally turned pale on seeing the quantity of Briyanis that was served to us and for the prices we were about to pay for it. Chicken Briyani was hopeless. Chicken pieces were very dry and the rice had no flavor to it. Veg Briyani had some flavor to it but the quantity was unbelievably less. Also, Bad service. The food was served cold. Irritated by this, we had to cancel the other orders and we walked off.

It is not that the other branches of Hotel Junior Kuppanna is bad. They offer quality food despite the portions being less and prices high. The Chennai branch is very good. I had some good food there. For some reason, I had a very bad experience that day in the CBE branch.
