Jumjoji - The Parsi Diner, 11A/B, 1st Floor, Retail Arcade at THE ORB, IA Project Rd, next to Jw Marriott Sahar, near Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport
Jumjoji - The Parsi Diner is located at The Orb near International Airport. Been there a day prior to the Christmas Eve.
The staff was welcoming and we absolutely loved the warm hospitality. The menu is vast I'll share the review based on my experience. Maybe that can help you to select dishes on your visit.
We started with Chicken sticks which was a Parsi version of chicken skewers. The marination was done in mild sweet and spicy green masala. The presentation was on point and the taste was even better.
Then we moved to Patrani Machi, which you may have as an appetizer or even main course. A jumbo sized pomfret. Coated with green coriander cocunut chutney. Wrapped in banana leaf and steamed to perfection. Healthy eater can go for it.
Best of the day was the main course. We ordered Sandhno No Patio. Which was basically jumbo prawns curry served with fragnant basmati rice. The curry was aromatic and was cooked with rich spices. It had a cocunut milk based which gave it a delightful creamy taste.
In desserts you gotta try the Gulab Jamun with Rabdi. The quantity is generous and the taste is heavenly.
Overall we were overwhelmed with the warm hospitality and the delicious food. Wil surely visit Jumjoji again with my family this time.

A tiny eatery in Bandra years ago, has resurfaced in a new posh avatar in a plush mall called @theorbmumbai. @jumjoji walls have Parsi and Iranian pictures, quotes, recipes, and real-life significance of the relatives of the owner. They have a piano place as well with some beautiful live music. The unique menu offers the usual Parsi favourites, but many with their own characteristic twist. The 'Chutney Pattice' and 'Chicken Cutlets' here, are not-to-be-missed.Steamed to perfection in a banana leaf, the Patranimachi, The pomfret was super fresh – flaky, juicy , perfectly cooked. Berry pulao was excellent – it had long, aromatic, Independent grains of rice pulao with super tangy berries in it. Loved it. The browned onions on top added zing. We strongly recommend the Irani Chai Icecream for their desserts. We experienced classy hospitality, mind blowing ambience and of course great authentic food all under one roof. .
