Simple and sober ambience, this eatery gives off the unmistakable feel of a typical Ichalkaranji khanaval – no frills, just focus on food. What sets Joshi apart is that the owner himself is the cook, and you can literally see your food being prepared fresh from your table. That personal touch, along with the freshly made-to-order dishes, adds a lot of value to the experience. What We Ordered: Chicken Masala Thali Mutton Fry Thali Both thalis were served piping hot and had that rustic, home-cooked essence. Taste & Ratings: Chicken Masala – 8.5/10 Rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. This dish clearly stood out. Mutton Fry – 8/10 Tender meat with well-balanced masalas. A solid performer. Tambada Rassa – 7/10 Slightly underwhelming in terms of spice and depth compared to the rest, but still decent. Pandhara Rassa – 8/10 Smooth, comforting, and well-seasoned. A great addition to the thali. Service – 8/10 Quick, polite, and attentive. The personal involvement of the owner makes the experience smoother. Ambience – 6/10 (Not rated formally) While the setup is basic, it fits the local khanaval-style vibe, which actually enhances the authenticity.
