Visited Jook Taproom with my office team for a team dinner. We had a buffet setup, but the spread felt limited for the price. Veg starters included paneer tikka, spring rolls, masala peanuts, and mushroom tikka. There were three non-veg starters—one chicken, one fish, and another item—but as per most of my teammates, they were quite basic. For dinner, the options were limited to naan, tandoori roti, paneer tikka masala, butter chicken, and veg biryani. The paneer tikka masala was good, the naan and rotis were soft, and the biryani was decent. Desserts included brownie, mini gulab jamun, and ice cream, which were better than the rest of the food. They offered unlimited mocktails, but those were average. I tried a couple of cocktails—the Hot Toddy was decent but sweet, while the LIIT tasted bitter. The ambiance was basic and nothing fancy, though the service was good and well managed. One highlight of the evening was the DJ, who played a good mix of songs and was something everyone really enjoyed.
