The dining experience was excellent, with exceptional service and delectable food. Updated on - 3rd Nov 2025. After our recent visit I would like to reduce the rating from 5 to 1 star. I used to love this place but it's not quite the same anymore. They've reduced the standards and quality by using old stocks. Prawns, mushroom and fish everything was pretty old except for the beef steak. Despite giving them a feedback for the initial orders they just kept bring in old stocks. It feels run down and disappointing. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹800–1,000

I had a great time at Jonah's Bistro Palavakkam. Went there as a family and what stood out was the pace of service - the staff were not only quick to take the orders but also quick to serve the ordered food. That kept the momentum quite well paced to the point that we were done in about 1.5 hours after having ordered 6 starters of different kinds, 6 main courses ranging from steak to lasagna to burger to noodles and rice, apart from beverages. The service was highly personable with two incidents standing out - when accessing one of the dishes kept on the table, we accidentally let the plate topple but the restaurant was kind enough to replace the dish. During the course of our meal, the restaurant offered a complimentary ice cream scoop that was definitely unexpected but heartwarming. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to explore tasty food that's delivered through courteous and professional staff at a pocket friendly range.
