John Chang’s Kitchen is a great spot for comfort Chinese food. We had the fried rice and Cantonese noodles—both were flavorful, fresh, and served in generous portions. I visited John Chang's Kitchen after seeing multiple food bloggers praise it for being affordable and tasty. Naturally, I had some expectations—but unfortunately, my experience didn’t quite match the hype. I ordered the chicken fried rice and chicken chow mein. To my disappointment, both dishes had very little chicken, were overly oily, and lacked the flavor I was hoping for. The overall taste was quite plain—nothing that stood out or felt special, especially compared to what was showcased online. Honestly, I’ve had more flavorful and satisfying meals from street vendors.
