Beautiful place. You can view the hill ranges and Bangladesh plains from this resort. The food is great. We tried chicken, fish and pork. And all of them were cooked to perfection. Not heavy on the stomach. Very well behaved staffs. Food: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Jiva Grill is a modern and popular restaurant located inside Jiva Resort in Cherrapunjee - Sohra. It is favourite among visitors for its diverse menu, with a special focus on grilled dishes made from fresh, local ingredients. During lunchtime, the restaurant gets very busy. Visitors often need to give their name and phone number at the reception, and the staff will call them in about 15 to 20 minutes when a table is ready. While waiting, visitors can enjoy the beautiful surrounding garden, which features a variety of plants and orchids, viewpoints, artificial waterfalls, swings, and even basketball boards. The food at Jiva Grill is tasty and hygienic, and the service is consistently good and prompt. Our special thanks to Mr. Chettry for his hospitality and friendly service. While prices can be a bit higher after taxes, the clean and well-kept toilets are a plus. The resort also offers a large parking lot. The restaurant appears to be wheelchair accessible. Both cash and phone payments are accepted. Overall, it is a really good place to eat in Sohra.
