Recently i tried a lot of their best sellers. This includes chanar dalna,dhokar dalna and kacha Lanka die murgir jhol at jessore local. Very delicious thick gravies with amazing taste. A little low on spices and oil would be preferable though. Quantity wise it was awesome. 2 person can share from one. Chicken was soft and well cooked. Love the dhokar dalna very much because of the mild hing flavour in it. Packaging was also very good. Eager to try their sukto and mutton. Overall a must try. Service: Delivery Meal type: Lunch

This is a purely bengali restaurant and serves authentic Bengali dishes. Tried their Dhoka R Dalna, Chocchori, Roshuner Payesh and Amsotto Khejur Chatni. All dishes were authentic in taste and food was hygenic. packaging was good, came with spril proof boxes. If you're looking to relish some bengali cusines must give a try.

I was craving for some authentic Bengali flavours recently and bumped into Jessore Local on Zomato, after browsing through a few reviews I decided to order a combo meal of Mutton Kosha with steamed rice and Benaami Kheer. The food was delivered swiftly through Zomato in a perfectly spill proof branded packaging. The steamed rice came in a standee zip lock pack which had branding from Kabuliwala, offering sinful Biryani, which I decided I should try next. The steamed rice was still warm, if not hot when it arrived and the rich red mutton kosha is something that beautifully coated the rice and my palate with delicious flavours from Bengal. I loved the overall richness of the kosha, though the quality of the two medium sized mutton pieces could have been better and the rice to curry portion could be slightly altered with less rice or more curry. Not sure about the authenticity, I will leave that to the experts, but the Mutton Kosha was a very delicious curry with mild meat flavours that I thoroughly enjoyed. The Benaami kheer was creamy and extremely delicious, it was a perfect end to a fabulous meal.
