Got the parcel meals..very neatly packed.. Total value for money..tasted good especially the rasam but in my view the quantity could've been a little more..
Decent spread of items.. A bamboo plate ws added in the parcel, shows that thought have been put into deciding the package..

This might be a good place for breakfast but the dinner takeaway I had from here yesterday was quite bad. All the side dishes were too salty and lacked any defining taste. The four items i got on takeaway were equally bad. The idiyappam with vadacurry was advertised as their signature dish.The idiyappam was dry and the vadacurry was completely oily and salty as well. The parotta was dry and was as tough as a piece of leather. The sidedish was salty and tasteless. The next was adai avial. This dish was screwed up to the maximum extent. I have never seen a adai that is as thin as a dosai. Compeltely tasteless and was almost like eating a piece of cardboard. I had great hopes for the avial but was let down by it. It was runny with a few vegetables here and there and tasted a bit too sour. The last item was the potato bonda which is responsible for atleast the score of 1. It was not great or worth the money but was atleast edible. We dont waste food and tried our best to eat them but it was an impossible task. Writing this review in hope that the restaurant owner might notice this and take some steps to improve. The place even though located centrally was almost empty in the evening. (should have listened to my instincts then!). Also my last comment is on the quantity served. For the price charged, the portions served were very less.Who charges 75 rupees for idiappam? When we pay this kind of money we expect the food to be of considerable quality which was sadly lacking. If you are advertising yourself as a pure veg restaurant, then these dishes are supposed to be your stong points.
