Honest review of Jai Jalaram Khaman House, Chikhli ️ We stopped here on a Saturday morning for breakfast before heading to Ankara Waterfall near Vansda in Navsari district. It was a weekend so the place was super packed, but definitely worth a visit—especially if you’re traveling with family or friends. It makes for the perfect quick halt if you’re driving from Surat toward Navsari (around 1 hour into the journey). They serve a wide variety of Gujarati snacks—everything from khaman, locho, khandvi, sev khaman, and khamani, to different types of dhokla like corn, cheese, butter, and even garlic dhokla! You’ll also find typical fast food options like pav bhaji, dosa, and traditional treats like jalebi-fafda. They serve chai, coffee, milk, and cold drinks like Pepsi, Thums Up, Coke, Frooti, Maaza, etc. Most items come with flavorful chutneys and even kadhi, which was a nice touch! They have AC, non-AC, and even outdoor seating options, which is great depending on your mood and the weather. Plenty of free parking is available too, which makes it convenient for bigger groups and road-trippers. The best part? They open early in the morning and stay open till late night—so you can even stop by on your way back for evening snacks or even a quick dinner. Overall, a great pit stop to load up on tasty Gujarati snacks and recharge during your trip. Would totally recommend adding this to your travel plan if you’re visiting the nearby waterfalls or just passing by!
