Iconic Maharashtrian Thali place for many years, located at prime location of Deccan. They serve Maharashtrian thali which is unlimited except sweet dish which is limited. Food quality is good with a homely taste. Service is good too. Price is a bit on a higher side but it somewhat makes up with the food and service quality and the satisfaction of enjoying a classic maharashtrian thali. Recently we had a lunch at Janaseva Bhojanalaya. We wanted to taste authentic Marathi food, and we simply loved the thali. The menu contained a sweet - Basundi, 2 Bhaji/ Sabjis, kobi Pachadi, Rajma Usal, dhokla, Kadhi khichadi, and bhakari / phulaka. All the dishes tasted good. Their preparation of each dish was simple, yet tasty. Food wasnt oily. Batata rassa, though tasty, didn't really taste authentic maharashtrian. It was tasting more like a Gujrati dish. Staff was polite and welcoming. Overall a must try for thali lovers !! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹200–400
