Had a 3-hour layover in Delhi and debated between chilling at Aerocity or exploring something local. A friend suggested Jain Chawal Wale—and I’m glad I listened! Took the metro from Terminal 3, got off at Shivaji Stadium, and enjoyed a beautiful short walk through the state emporiums showcasing regional crafts and culture. The vibe was already so local and rich before I even reached the food. The place isn’t high on hygiene, but the flavors are unmatched. Tried their chole bhature, rajma chawal, and lassi—pure Delhi comfort food. If you’re short on time and want a quick cultural + food fix, this spot is totally worth it.
