I've heard great things about Jonah's, but never actually got a chance to experience it until this weekend. Maybe I picked the wrong branch? The place was crowded when we went at lunch time, with only one table free. We were happy about it, feeling we made a good choice. Unfortunately, we were almost instantly put off by the unclean utensils on the table which we asked them to replace. They gave us fresh forks and spoons but they just wiped down the dirty plate with a tissue (and didn't care to hide it). Then came the flies - so many of them, we needed to eat with one hand while swaying another over our food and drinks! It honestly had us questioning the hygiene of the place. The food itself was decent, I enjoyed my ratatouille and my company enjoyed the lasagne and sizzlers. They did, on request, remove service charges so maybe a point for that? I visited this place after hearing a lot of hype from my friends. Since it’s located inside the mall, the ambiance was decent. They offer a wide variety of food options. I tried the Big Boy Burger and Ferrero Rocher shake—both tasted good, though the prices were on the higher side. Overall, it’s worth trying once for its popularity.
