Had a really disappointing experience at City Bakery. I initially went in for a tea, but the temperature inside was unbearable. No proper ventilation, fan, or cooling in the tea area - felt suffocating. Because of this, I decided to parcel my orders instead of dining in. I ordered a lemon soda as parcel, and they completely messed it up. Something as basic as a lemon soda shouldn’t be this bad. Quantity was too less, and the service was worse - after making it, the waiter asked me to go inside and take the bottle from their table instead of delivering it. I asked them to heat up the puffs, they agreed, but didn’t do it. The puffs were rock hard and not tasty at all. Charged ₹20, which is overpriced compared to the quality. Kuzhalappam was way too oily. Samosa was bland and lacked any flavor. Overall, bad service, poor food quality, and uncomfortable atmosphere. Definitely not worth a second visit.
