I didn’t know it was possible to ruin biryani this badly, but this place managed it. It was so incredibly salty I felt like I was swallowing a handful of ocean sand. A total assault on the taste buds. Easily the worst biryani, and the worst meal I’ve ever had. Save your money and your blood pressure Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹800–1,000 Food: 1

The location of this place is amazing but that is the only good thing about it. The service is horrible. The food is horrible. We were the only people there. The music was very loud despite multiple requests the server refused to lower the volume. Finally when the food came it was really bad. Meal type: Lunch Vegetarian options: Few

Hey, I would honestly never give even 1 star to Jai Ram Cafe, Varkala. The taste was absolutely disappointing and nowhere close to what we expected. What made the experience worse was the unprofessional behavior of the staff and their poor communication skills. I clearly asked for a spicy curry, but they served a sweet paneer curry instead. When I politely requested them to change it and provide the spicy version as ordered, they simply refused without offering any proper explanation or solution. Very disappointing experience.
