Having seen Jogger's Park, it's time to have a rest at this restaurant. The key aspect of Izumi Bandra is the Japanese cuisine. Food delivery is a big plus of this place. This spot scored 4.5 in the Google rating system.
It was our introduction to authenticate Japanese cuisine and we came out super happy and satisfied. We tried the veg versions of the Shoyu, the Miso and the Curry ramen; as well as the Mushroom and water chestnut gyoza and the crispy avocado carrot Uramaki rolls. While we enjoyed everything we tried, the sushi certainly stole the show. It was just the right balance of flavours and textures. The servers were also quick, attentive and efficient. Loved the ambience, and it might look better still at night. All in all, this place is worth all the hype. I finally got the chance to visit Izumi, a place I had heard so much about online, and it truly lived up to the hype! The ambience was warm and inviting, and I was quickly seated by my attentive waiter, Rohan, which set a great tone for the evening. For the food, I tried the shrimp tempura, California maki roll, pork tonkatsu ramen, and chicken gyoza – each dish was absolutely fantastic, perfectly balanced in flavour and authenticity. To complement the meal, I had the mango mocktail, which was refreshing and paired beautifully with the food. We ended the experience on a sweet note with mochi served with fruits and jasmine-flavoured ice cream – a delightful dessert that was just as memorable as the main course. Overall, it was an amazing dining experience – delicious food, great service, and a lovely ambience. Definitely a spot I’d recommend for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Japanese cuisine in Mumbai!
