After a long walk around Sri Govardhana Kshetra, visit this restaurant and have a rest here. Chinese cuisine provides authentic dishes at Iyer's Tiffin Centre. Good coffee will make your meal tastier and you'll surely come back.
Went here this morning to have my breakfast. This is a small joint which has seating for not more than 15 - 20 people at any given point in time. It wasn't crowded when I went. I had Khali dosa to start off with. It must say, the texture of the dosa was not right. I didn't like it when I touched it. It's served with sagu and chutney. If You don't want the sagu then you can request for Aloo masala and it will be given. Nevertheless, the taste wasn't just right and the texture of the dosa should be really nice for it to taste good.. This was quite not like how an IYER would prepare. I then had Vangi bath. Played safe by just having half of it. The half plate of a rice bath would cost 20/- and the full plate would cost 35/-. Glad I played safe. Vangibath was everything except how it's supposed to taste. What I don't understand is the presence of green peas in the rice bath. Had it been pulav, I can understand but not here. Both the dishes were not like an IYER's preparation. Last but not the least, I had coffee and this was the stand out performer. Coffee tasted good. I will say, that's the only positive.. It costed me 60/-.
Open Dosa is the main charm. Everything is tasty and have got reasonable price with good quality. Ambience is not that good,it is just a normal standard restaurant
Tomato rice bath was good .
Ambience was okies , place is very hard to find it is in between the small lane
